General Questions

How do I book with you?

To book with me, click here to access my online calendar and book today. BUT before you do that, browse through my website, take time to ask questions, and I highly encourage you to look at two other counsellors before making your decision to ensure that you are taking the time to find out what looks best for you. If you decide to reach out to my office, we would be privileged to walk this path with you.

How can therapy help?

Therapy provides new ways of looking at old situations. You can learn new tools, identify patterns, and get emotional support during therapy. Many people come to see me and they may say "I don't what I want but I know it's not this." Therapy can also help you to identify what you want.

What therapy is NOT, is one size fits all, a magic pill, or telling someone what they want to hear. Contact us for more information on how investing in therapy is investing in yourself.

How much do the counseling sessions cost?

As a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, Canada my colleauges and I follow the guidelines offered by the Psychologist's Association of Alberta. A 50 minute session is $190.00. For more information on pricing for intensives or other services, contact us!

What else can I do to help myself?

Counselling is only one way that you can help yourself! Taking care of your physical health, staying social, and practicing effective emotional hygeine are all ways you can help yourself right now! Go to my Resources page for a few suggestions.

Why Psychology?

Pyschology is a science and there is an art to that science. Psychological treatment is rooted in evidence based practices. I don't apply anything in my work that can't be backed up with science. That being said, it is the art of the therapeutic relationship that fuels change. My work is based in empathy, honesty, and compassion. It is my life's work to show up and walk along side the people I serve.

You Are Not Alone.

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.  -Helen Keller
